Nepal

The EWB-GT Nepal Project is a water supply and sanitation initiative focused on designing and constructing a sustainable water system for the rural community of Chisopani Bhirkhe, home to approximately 500 residents. After completing our assessment trip in May 2025 and working closely with the community to evaluate potential solutions, we selected a deep-well system as the most effective long-term solution. During the upcoming school year, we hope to continue our fundraising efforts and, in partnership with the community, begin construction of the new water system. This is an exciting time to join the project, as you will help shape the implementation of a solution that will have a lasting impact on the community and contribute directly to the work being carried out in Nepal.

We are looking for students that are incredibly passionate about global development, and who are willing to stick around and commit to the project long-term. Being curious with a continuous willingness to learn as well as a flexible, community-first mindset is incredibly pivotal. All majors and undergrad years are welcome, and we are looking for people to work in all aspects of the project including technical, finance, communications, sustainability, outreach, and more!
